hate the indifferent. I think that living means taking sides. Who really lives can not fail to be a citizen and partisan. Indifference and apathy are parasitism, are knavery, not life. Why I hate the indifferent.
Indifference is the dead weight of history. Indifference operates powerfully in the story. Opera passive, but active. It is the fate, that which you can not tell. Twist programs, and ruin the best-conceived plans. Disrupting is the raw material of intelligence. Whatever happens, the evil that has befallen all happens because the mass of men abdicating their will, allows the passage of legislation that will repeal only revolt, consent to the accession to power of men, who get only a mutiny then overthrow. The mass ignores carelessness, and then it seems inevitable thing that everything and everyone runs over, to which consents, as well as the dissenter, who knew, just as the did not know, to assets, as well as the indifferent. Some whine mercifully other obscenely blaspheme, but no or very few people wonder: if he tried to assert my will, would have happened what happened?
